Hailey Veronica Adeleke just turned 8, and her mom, Amanda, didn’t let the day pass quietly. Taking to Instagram, Amanda penned an emotional tribute to her daughter, calling her “my greatest gift, my greatest blessing, my bestie.”

“Dear God, thank You for my daughter’s life. Eight whole years of greatness. Our little Hay Hay is growing so beautifully. So sweet, so smart, and so caring,” she wrote.

Amanda ended her post with a note of gratitude for motherhood: “God, I can’t thank you enough for choosing me to be her mommy… 5/9/2017.”

Hailey is the second daughter of Afrobeats superstar Davido.
