In a recent chat on the Bagfuel podcast, Nigerian superstar, David Adeleke popular known as Davido, got candid about his relationship with convicted fraudster, Hushpuppi.

The 30BG frontman described Hushpuppi as a friend but admitted he was never privy to the controversial lifestyle that ultimately led to Hushpuppi’s arrest and imprisonment.

“I’ve been talking to him too; he’s coming out soon. He lived life,” Davido revealed, hinting that they’re still in contact.

However, the hitmaker was quick to add a cautionary note: that living large isn’t worth losing one’s freedom. He reflected on how some people choose fast thrills, knowing they’ll pay the price later.
