    CYMS Joins Launch of Renewed Hope Climate Change Awareness Tour at Presidential Villa

    The Committed of Youth on mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS) proudly participated in the official launch of the Renewed Hope Climate Change Awareness Tour (REHCCAT) on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

    The initiative, organized by the Presidency through the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Climate Change, aims to enhance climate change awareness and promote environmental sustainability in alignment with the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda.

    CYMS was represented by a delegation led by Chief Obinna Nwaka, the organization’s Director General. The team included notable figures such as Hon. Kelechi Ugwumba, Director of Contacts and Mobilization; Corper Rose Nwokeocha; Clever Waka; Comrade Abdul Shuiabu; and Mr. Famola Olakunle.

    The launch featured robust discussions surrounding climate advocacy, community engagement, and the vital role of youth in combating climate challenges. Participants underscored the need for collective responsibility and ongoing awareness campaigns to address the pressing impacts of climate change in Nigeria.

    Post-event, members of the CYMS delegation expressed that the gathering was both impactful and timely. They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting national initiatives that foster environmental consciousness and sustainable development.

    The ceremony concluded with a group photograph of dignitaries and delegates, symbolizing a significant step forward in enhancing climate action efforts across the nation. Participants left inspired and motivated to drive change within their communities.
