The Spiritual Father and Chairman, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Baba Aladura Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye, has enjoined fellow Church members to ensure that they stay at home to be counted during the forthcoming national census exercise, stressing that it is part of their civic responsibilities as citizens of Nigeria.

The Spiritual Father also urged Nigerians to cooperate with the enumerators and other census officials who would be visiting to count them towards ensuring the success of the programme, adding that census would give the federal government and its agencies the opportunity to plan adequately well for the future of the country.

The Prophet, who noted that accurate census is key and germane to the development of any Nation, admonished the National Population Commission (NPC) to discharge its duties with utmost diligence, fairness, and without fear or favour.

Meanwhile, the annual Ascension of Mount Horeb of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O earlier scheduled to hold between 1st May and 7th May, 2023 has been postponed.

A statement from the International Headquarters of the Church, Galilee Land Orile Igbon, Oyo State, and signed by the Secretary General, Special Apostle Ademola Odetundun, attributed the postponement to the rescheduled National Census programme by the federal government to between 3rd and 5th May, 2023, which coincided with their earlier Horeb period.

According to the statement, the one week prayer programme would now hold between 7th and 14th May, 2023 at Galilee Land.
