    Coal City University to partner Kassie Braun Memorial Schools

    The leadership of Kassie Braun Memorial Schools, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, has expressed readiness to partner Coal City University Enugu campus

    This was the outcome of the meeting held Wednesday with the leadership of the university during her visit.

    In his address, the principal, Rev. Fr.JohnBosco Ikemeh said, they were on a familiarisation visit to enable her create smooth relationship with the school authority.

    He noted that Kassie Braun Memorial Schools was born out of passion of a daughter and her godfather, through the effort of volunteers inspired by the love and well-being of their neighbours and passion for social justice.

    In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor Prof Afam Icha ituma expressed optimism on their visit to the school adding that Coal City University was interested in forming a close partnership with such schools with international background, especially in the areas of internationalization and micro-credentials.

    He appreciated the fact that, Kassie Braun Memorial Schools was in collaboration with St John’s School, North Charleston, Blessed Sacrament School Charleston, South Carolina, and Cathedral High School Indianapolis, Indiana.

    He noted that the stellar quality of education being provided to the students of Kassie Braun school was key to producing saleable students that would compete favourable in the labour market upon graduation

    “Our school look forward to admitting your students upon completion of post primary education. We can’t wait to admit students of Kassie Braun School into coal City University” he concluded.
