APC, only party in Nigeria, Uzodinma mocks ADC

    Published on

In a swift rebuttal to the ADC’s rising profile, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma dismissed the party’s relevance, declaring that only two political parties exist in Nigeria: the APC and ‘others.’

Uzodinma, who also chairs the Progressives Governors Forum, made the statement during a working visit to the APC national headquarters in Abuja alongside Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo.

“It’s their claim, not our claim,” Uzodinma said when asked about the ADC’s criticism of President Tinubu. “There are only two parties—APC and others.”

The visit was focused on reviewing preparations for the APC’s proposed e-registration exercise, which he said was “ready to commence in full force.”
