‎Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has declared that the state, being the safest state, remains open to foreign and local investments.

‎Giving the account of his nine days working visit to China at the Government House Chapel, Abakaliki on Sunday, the Governor disclosed that the delegation had robust interactions with foreign investors.

‎”The outcome of our visit to China was fruitful. The grace of God upon our life that made it possible for us to achieve a lot.

‎”During the visit, we were received by the government of Hunan, Jiangshi. At China, the government made a tremendous remark about their interests to invest, and join us to develop Ebonyi,” he said.

‎The Governor attributed the huge political and economic mileage recorded by the government within the last three years to divine interventions in the state’s affairs and the collaboration of stakeholders.

‎”We are not perfect, but we pray for more grace to keep pushing for the great interest of this state.

‎”It is the grace of God that has been protecting us, and guiding us. Your prayers have been helping us. With your practical support, we have made tangible progress”.

‎While Commending the Apostolic Administrator, Bishop Ernest  Obodo , the Governor expressed his confidence in the leadership sagacity of the local ordinary for creating the ambience for state and the church to deliver on their assigned mandate.

‎”Let me sincerely thank our dear Bishop. I have observed that the Bishop is very calm, peaceful and is a man after God’s own heart and we thank him for coming to worship with us here”.

‎Further dispelling speculations in the 2027 political context, the Governor said “the wheel of governance is running smoothly till 2031. Let us not worry for nothing, let us continue to believe in God.”
