    Popular Yoruba actor, Murphy Afolabi, dies.

    The popular Nollywood actor,  Murphy Afolabi, whose sudden death was announced Sunday morning in Ikorodu, Lagos was said to have passed on during bath.

    Sources close to the family of the deceased, whose demise said he fell down in the bathroom in his house in Ikorodu, Lagos, on Sunday morning.

    He was a popular  Yoruba actor, filmmaker who made his mark in the movie industry.

    One of the sources and the President of Yoruba movies directors guild, Seun Olaiya, shared the sad news on a WhatsApp platform populated by filmmakers. 

    The Managing Director of the popular movie marketing company, Corporate Pictures Nigeria Limited, Abdullahi Abdulrasaq also confirmed the sad story.
