‎According to reports, Adojor was allegedly killed on the spot of the attack, while his wife was abducted immediately by the hoodlums to an unknown destination.

‎Eyewitnesses said the fire broke out in the evening of Monday, June 29, 2026, destroying parts of the mosque, some houses in Hausa quarters at Obromudu community leading to Ovade Village in Oghara.

‎Security operatives were later deployed to restore order, and prevent further destruction.

‎He called on the government and security personnel to act swiftly to prevent further attacks, and ensure calmness in the area.
