The Spiritual Father and Chairman Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, His Grace Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye,
has urged Christians in the country to emulate Jesus Christ’s virtues of love and sacrifice towards enhancing peaceful coexistence and nation building.

Prophet Abidoye, in his Easter message to Christians, described Easter as a watershed occasion to reflect and embrace the virtues of Jesus Christ which, he noted, include peace, perseverance, patience, love and patriotic service to the nation.

The Spiritual Father urged Christians to seize the opportunity provided by the Easter celebration to embrace spiritual rejuvenation, rebirth and to pray fervently for God’s intervention to end insecurity in the country.

“Prayer should be offered for the leadership of the country at all levels as we change the baton of leadership next month as Jesus Christ prayed for all even during His trying period on the Cross at Calvary” he emphasised.

While rejoicing with Christians and members of the fold on the auspicious occasion of Easter, Prophet Abidoye stressed the need for love, religious harmony and peaceful coexistence, especially at this period when their Muslim counterparts are also in their holy month of fasting.

The Spiritual Father also enjoined the people to participate actively in the forthcoming census as well as other government programmes initiated for the progress and benefits of the citizens.

“I heartily wish you all happy Easter celebration even as I enjoin you to be steadfast in serving the only living God for the salvation of your souls”, Abidoye added.
