Seyi Law Blasts Fayose Over Call for Tinubu’s Resignation, Impeachment

    Published on

Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law, has slammed the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, Isaac, after calling for President Tinubu’s resignation or impeachment

Fayose, in a video shared on social media, said the poverty in Nigeria bites so hard that people can no longer drive their cars.

According to Fayose, the roads in Lagos are now free from vehicular movement due to the hike in petrol pump prices.

Fayose further called on President Tinubu to resign or for the Senate to impeach him.

Reacting to the video via his 𝕏 handle, Seyi said anyone with a functioning brain would know that since the rail lines have started working and more roads, like the coastal roads, have been constructed, traffic has significantly reduced.

He wrote, “Anybody whose brain is functioning knows that since the blue and red metro lines started working and many roads were repaired and constructed, for example, the Lekki-Epe Expressway and coastal highway, has caused traffic to reduce on the roads.”

Meanwhile, Fayose recently described ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar‘s plan to contest the 2027 presidential election as selfish.

Fayose’s remarks follow Atiku’s recent remark on Arise Television that the 2027 general election will be his final opportunity to become Nigeria’s president.

Reacting, Fayose, in a post via his social media page, questioned Atiku’s decision to consider another run, arguing that it disregards the prevailing political sentiment on power rotation.

Fayose further stated that Atiku’s coming back to the ballot means he is working for President Bola Tinubu.
