    FUDMA Hosts NELFUND MD to Advance Student Loan Scheme”

    As part of its ongoing nationwide stakeholder engagement, the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) on April 8, 2026, visited the Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State, with its Managing Director/Chief Executive, Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr, leading the delegation.

    The visit provided an opportunity for constructive dialogue with the university’s management on strengthening collaboration and enhancing the effective delivery of the student loan scheme.

    Discussions during the engagement focused on practical implementation strategies, institutional alignment, and ensuring that students fully benefit from the programme.

    Reaffirming the Fund’s vision, the MD/CE emphasized NELFUND’s commitment to a transparent, inclusive, and responsive student financing system. He noted that strong partnerships with tertiary institutions are critical to achieving the Fund’s mandate.
