President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Engineer Adesayo Olusegun Michael as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) and Chief Electrical Inspector of the Federation (CEIF).
Engr. Michael was a pioneer staff of Electricity Management Services (EMS) during the pre-privatization era, which later transformed into NEMSA. He previously headed NEMSA’s Oshodi Meter Test Station (MTS Oshodi) and, until recently, served in a management role at the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company. With several years of technical experience and expertise in metering systems, he is considered highly qualified for the role.
President Tinubu also appointed Hon. Magaji Da’u Aliyu as Managing Director of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO), Abuja. SHESTCO is responsible for research and development in technology and operates a nuclear research facility.
In addition, the President approved the appointment of NEMSA Board members, including:

Ikechi Clara Nwosu – Chairman, South East
Zubair Abdur’rauf Idris – Member
Igba Elizabeth – Member, North Central
Sani Alhaji Shehu – Member, North East
Adeyemi Adetunji – Member, South West
Engr. Emmanuel Eneji Nkpe – Member, South South
Engr. Charles Ogbonna Asogwa – Member, South East
Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation, and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC)
President Tinubu also nominated Amina Gamawa (Bauchi) and Abdullahi Muktar (Kaduna) as Commissioners to the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation, and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). The nominees have been sent to the Senate for confirmation.
