The Bayelsa chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) on Friday commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for sending yuletide palliatives to the people of Bayelsa.

The State Coordinator of the RHA, Chief Timipa Orunimighe, confirmed that the group received thousands of bags of rice from the President as Christmas palliatives to Bayelsa people to mark the festive season.

In a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of the RHA, Engr. Udengs Eradiri, Orunimighe also disclosed that President Tinubu personally signed greeting cards which were sent to leaders of the All Progressive Congress, religious leaders, CEOs, traditional rulers, opinion leaders, and the business Communities in Bayelsa.

According to him, this kind gesture reflects the President’s commitment to easing the challenges faced by ordinary Nigerians.

He noted that the President’s generosity has further motivated members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to intensify efforts in spreading the Renewed Hope message across Bayelsa.

Orunimighe urged Bayelsa people to continue supporting the Tinubu administration, adding that the President has the country’s best interests and Bayelsa at heart, as it is evident from the various appointments of people from Bayelsa into federal agencies.

Orunimighe also appreciated the leader of Bayelsa State APC, Gov Douye Diri for providing timely logistics to enable the quick distribution of the palliatives to the grassroots, most especially the needy.
