The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) deeply commiserates with the people of Ilorin on the demise of the revered Grand Chief Imam, Shaykh Muhammad-Bashir Solih, a distinguished scholar whose life reflected faith, humility, and unwavering devotion to Islamic service.

The passing of the Grand Chief Imam has created a profound sense of loss within Ilorin and across the Nigerian Muslim community. He was widely respected for his calm leadership, moral clarity, and consistent commitment to peace, unity, and spiritual guidance for all.

NASFAT applauds his fascinating legacy of scholarship and dialogue, through which he strengthened communal harmony, inspired younger generations, and upheld the values of tolerance, discipline, and sincere worship in an increasingly complex society.

On behalf of its leadership and members nationwide, NASFAT extends heartfelt condolences to the Ilorin Emirate Council, the family of the departed Imam, Islamic scholars, and the entire Muslim Ummah, praying for comfort and strength in this moment of grief.

NASFAT prays that Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgives his shortcomings, rewards his lifelong service, grants him Al-Jannah Firdaus, and enables the living to preserve and advance his enduring legacy of peace, unity, and selfless service to humanity.
