    The Director-General of the Committee of Youth on mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS), Chief Obinna Nwaka, has been honored with the Legacy Builders Award at the 2025 Legacy Building Conference, held recently in Abuja.

    The conference, organized by MANTHINKS, brought together leaders, changemakers and stakeholders committed to nation-building and youth empowerment. Serving as a Special Guest at the event, the reporter witnessed the moment Chief Nwaka received the prestigious award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to youth development, media advocacy and nation-building initiatives across Nigeria.

    In his acceptance remarks, Chief Obinna Nwaka expressed profound gratitude to God, acknowledging that grace and perseverance have enabled him to remain steadfast in his commitment to positive societal change. He dedicated the award to the entire CYMS Nigeria team, praising their unwavering support, encouragement and collaborative spirit.

    Chief Nwaka also extended appreciation to the leadership and organizing team of MANTHINKS for their dedication to advancing meaningful national dialogue. He made special mention of Ambassador Chinweike Lilian Okafor, commending her exceptional commitment and hard work toward the successful realization of the 2025 Legacy Building Conference.

    The event concluded with renewed calls for collective engagement in efforts aimed at building sustainable leadership legacies for future generations.
