    ATIKU Pledges TO TACKLE INSECURITY, ECONOMIC CHALLENGES

    Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate for 2023 general election, Atiku Abubakar has pledged to tackle insecurity and economic challenges in Nigeria, if elected.

    Abubakar made the promise at the PDP’s Presidential Campaign Rally on Wednesday in Damaturu.

    Amazed by the mammoth crowd cheering him, He called on the people of the state to come out in masse to vote for him and other candidates of the party at the February polls.

    “We promise you that if you vote for PDP, peace will return to Yobe; we will make sure that our schools are opened for uninterrupted education.

    “We will also empower our young men and women by giving them capital to set-up businesses so that they can live a successful life,” he said.

    Earlier, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, Director- General, PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, called on the party’s supporters to vote for change at the forthcoming elections.

    He expressed optimism that Abubakar would revive the economy having been a successful businessman of international repute.

    In her remarks, Hajiya Naja’atu Muhammed, an APC stalwart, said Atiku was one of the major employers of labour in northern Nigeria.

    “ His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has offered scholarships to many children of less- privileged in Nigeria,” she said.

    Muhammed, therefore, enjoined Nigerians to vote for PDP candidates at all levels in the forthcoming elections.
