    A’Ibom govt dissolves Ethical, Attitudinal Reorientation Commission

    The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the dissolution of the Ethical and Attitudinal Reorientation Commission with immediate effect.

    The directive was contained in a press release dated 1 September 2025 from the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, with reference number SSG/AKS/S/270/VOL.14/430.

    According to the statement, “His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Ph.D has approved the dissolution of the Ethical and Attitudinal Reorientation Commission with immediate effect.”

    The government expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Commission.

    “The State Government expresses its appreciation to the Chairman and members of the Commission and wishes them success in their future endeavours,” the release noted.

    It further directed that the Chairman should hand over official responsibilities.

    “Accordingly, the Chairman is hereby directed to hand over to the Director of Administration & Supplies in the Commission before disengagement,” the statement read.
