According to the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, or NEPC, non-oil exports from the most populous nation in Africa rose by 24.75% to $1.791 billion in the first quarter of 2025.

This was revealed in Abuja on Monday by Nonye Ayeni, the executive director of NEPC.

“The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) announced the biggest export value since its founding 49 years ago this year, rising 20.77 percent year over year from $4.517 billion in 2023 to $5.456 billion in 2024.

In the first quarter of 2025, Nigeria exported non-oil goods worth US$1.791 billion.

This represents a 24.75 percent rise above the $1.436 billion reported in the first quarter of 2024″, Ayeni stated.
