    Amusan confirms for Diamond League season opener

    Tobi Amusan of Nigeria has been added to the roster of players for the Diamond League season opener in 2025.

    The eagerly awaited occasion will take place on Saturday, April 26 in Xiamen, China.

    The elite athletics series’ Chinese leg will be held for the third time.

    In the main program, athletes will participate in seven field events and nine track events.

    Amusan, who now ranks 13th in the world rankings, has a personal best time of 12.12 seconds and owns the world record in the women’s 100-meter hurdles.

    She will compete against a formidable competition that includes Jamaican world champion Danielle Williams and world indoor record holder Devynne Charlton.
