    President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC), Anambra State Chapter, Chief Sir Basil Ejidike as Chairman, Governing Board National Root Crops Research Institute (NRCRI), Umudike, Abia state.

     

    In a Letter of Appointment dated March 28, 2025, Secretary to the Government of the Federation described Ejidike’s appointment which took effect from March 26, 2025 as a call to National Service.

     

    Ejidike commended the President for another honour done to him and Anambra APC, saying the appointment was a beautiful addition to the list of presidential appointments to Anambra state and APC.

     

    He reassured Tinubu of the continuous support of the people of the state and State Chapter for the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President.

     

    “The appointment underscores Mr. President’s appreciation of members and leaders of the party, All Progressives Congress (APC), and the people of the state,” he said.
