A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter reportedly crashed in the early hours of Monday, July 1, in Tami village, Igabi area of Kaduna State.

The incident, which occurred around 5 am, was confirmed by local sources who reported hearing a loud noise from the crash site. Witnesses described rushing to the scene and seeing the pilot emerging from the wreckage.

“A team of military officers from the Nigerian Air Force swiftly arrived at the scene to secure the area and conduct an initial investigation,” one local resident recounted. “They cordoned off the crash site to prevent unauthorized access and to ensure the safety of the villagers. The officers also began preliminary assessments to determine the cause of the crash, which remains unknown at this time.”
