Eden Hazard, the former Real Madrid and Chelsea midfielder, expressed his contentment with retirement at 32 during the 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony. When questioned about his retirement experience by host Didier Drogba, Hazard surprising replied, “I’m enjoying life, family, and the kids. I can do what I want. It’s a perfect life. At the moment, I don’t miss playing football. Let’s see in a few months.” Hazard had confirmed his retirement earlier in October, following the end of his contract with Real Madrid four months ago.
