Controversial Nigerian figure, Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, known as Bobrisky, has entered the ongoing feud between singers Samklef and Davido.
The dispute between the two started when Samklef, in a congratulatory post on Instagram, shared a video of Davido and his wife, Chioma, with their new twins leaving the hospital in Atlanta, USA.
In response to this, Davido, who had not publicly announced the birth, criticized Samklef for allegedly leaking the video and blocked him on social media. Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has presented a budget proposal of 350 billion naira for the 2024 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly. The budget is titled “Budget of Restoration and Transformation.”
Governor Abba Kabir revealed that out of the total budget, 215.8 billion naira has been allocated for capital expenditure, while the recurrent expenditure is set at 134.4 billion naira.
The Governor further outlined the allocation of funds to various sectors, with education receiving the highest budget allocation of 95.3 billion naira, followed by works with 40.4 billion naira. Physical planning is allotted 5.1 billion naira, and agriculture is allocated 11 billion naira.
Additionally, water resources will receive 13.4 billion naira, while women and youths are allocated 8.9 billion naira. The Governor pledged to continue implementing projects focused on human development in both rural and urban areas.
Following the budget presentation, Alhaji Dauda Mohammed Ali, Chairman of the Movement for the Support of Democracy and Good Governance, emphasized the importance of curbing financial leaks as a significant factor in advancing national development in financial management.
