    Nigerians to pay less for transportation with CNG buses — Minister

    The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, announced that Nigerians will experience reduced transportation costs with the introduction of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered buses. He made this statement during a town hall meeting with the Ministry of Finance’s management and staff in Abuja.

    Edun sought the cooperation and support of the ministry’s staff to help him fulfill his mandate in the administration led by President Bola Tinubu. He emphasized that this initiative is part of the Renewed Hope Agenda to improve public transportation and reduce costs for Nigerian citizens. Additionally, the minister pledged to ensure ongoing staff welfare to enhance service delivery.
