    Deputy Comptroller of Customs Takes Over Leadership at Ogun 1 Area Command

    Shuaibu Takes over Ogun 1 Command as Makinde proceeds to Customs Headquarters

    The Deputy Comptroller of Customs, Ahmadu Bello Shuaibu, has been posted to Ogun 1 Area Command to take over the leadership from Comptroller Bamidele Makinde. The redeployment was carried out by the Acting Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi. Comptroller Bello Shuaibu was previously serving as the Acting Area Controller of Ogun II Command.

    During his handover speech, Comptroller Makinde congratulated the new Area Controller and urged the officers to give their full support to the new leadership. He also thanked the officers for their hard work, which led to the generation of N225,009,835.50 as revenue and the seizure of goods with a Duty Paid Value of N6,604,107,655.92 during his tenure.

    Speaking to the press, Deputy Comptroller Ahmadu Shuaibu expressed his gratitude to everyone for their support and pledged to sustain the successes recorded by the Command. He also emphasized the need for cooperation among stakeholders to facilitate legitimate trade and move Nigeria forward.

    Overall, the redeployment of the Deputy Comptroller of Customs aims to ensure effective leadership and continuity in the Ogun 1 Area Command.
