Nigerian women receive advice to approach marriage with caution and avoid rushing into it due to societal pressures. Funke Akindele, a prominent Nollywood actress, shared this advice during an interview with media personality Chude Jidenowo.
She recounted her own experience of feeling pressured to settle down and have children, which led to a marriage that ended in disappointment after just one year. Akindele emphasized the importance of taking time and making the right decisions in relationships.
She encouraged women not to succumb to external pressure but to choose to marry because of genuine love and a desire to spend a lifetime with their partner. Akindele also advised against rushing into having children for the wrong reasons, emphasizing the importance of making those decisions based on personal desires and blessings.
