Zelenskyy lashes out at US Senator Lindsay Graham, saying, “I can grant you Ukrainian citizenship.”

    Published on

Following criticism from U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham for clashing with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance at a meeting at the Oval Office last Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has responded.

Following earlier discussions with other world leaders at a meeting in London convened by Sir Keir Starmer, Zelenskyy was addressing reporters on Sunday night.

Remember how Zelenskyy’s actions at the meeting were described as “disrespectful” by Graham?

“I don’t know if the United States could ever do business with Zelenskyy again,” he insisted.

Following the heated White House debate with Trump, Zelenskyy was also urged to resign by Graham and speaker Mike Johnson.

However, Zelenskyy stated: “I can give [Lindsay Graham] citizenship of Ukraine and he will become a citizen of our country,” in response to a query over Graham’s recent remark from Yalda Hakim, the chief world news presenter on Sky News.

“After that, his voice will begin to gain weight, and I will hear him discuss the issue of who should be president as a Ukrainian citizen.”

“The Ukrainian president will have to be chosen in Ukraine, not at Lindsay Graham’s house,” he continued.
