In a directive issued by the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, all ongoing rehabilitation work on the Abuja International Conference Centre has been ordered to be suspended until July 5, 2024.

Fatima Nadada, Head of the Communication Unit of Abuja Investments Company Limited, announced the suspension, stating that it aims to accommodate two significant events at the centre.

The first event is the Nigeria Air Force Anniversary, themed ‘NAF @ 60 Anniversary: Leveraging Strategic Partnerships in Aerospace Innovations for Regional Security.’ This celebration will feature various activities.

Additionally, the Nigeria Oil and Gas Energy Week is scheduled for June 2024. The 23rd NOG Energy Week Conference & Exhibition is anticipated to be a pivotal event for the international energy sector.

While expressing regret for any inconvenience caused, AICL affirms its dedication to providing a world-class venue for conferences, conventions, and cultural events in Abuja
