    ### Focus on Security
The budget allocates ₦4.9 trillion to defense, a move Uzodimma commended for prioritizing national security. “This budget reflects a leader who listens attentively to the concerns of the people. Security, being a cornerstone of societal stability, has been rightly prioritized,” he stated.

He emphasized that a secure environment fosters commercial activity, driving economic growth and societal prosperity.

Governor Uzodimma also highlighted the budget’s focus on infrastructure development, describing it as essential for sustainable economic expansion. “The President’s commitment to infrastructural development will undoubtedly lay a solid foundation for long-term growth,” he added.

    ### Call to Action for Lawmakers
The governor commended President Tinubu for fulfilling the constitutional duty of presenting the budget to the National Assembly and urged lawmakers to prioritize and expedite its passage. “It is my sincere expectation that the legislature will ensure the prompt implementation of this transformative fiscal plan,” Uzodimma concluded.
