(iv) As at today, EFCC has sixteen (16) serving Directors, out of which,Ten (10) are from North while only six (6) are from the Southern part of Nigeria.
(V) As at today, EFCC has Fifteen Zonal Commands accross Nigeria. Ten (10) of the fiften (15) commands including all grade “A” Commands, are maned by officers from the North while only Five (5), grade “B” are maned by Officers from the Southern part of Nigerian..
In addition, almost all the Critical and strategic Units and departments are only headed by people from the Northern part of the country. The same apply to recruitments, trainings and promotions. But sadly, the list of cases or suspects under investigation are the only statistics topped by people of Southern Nigeria.
It’s certain that the President Olusegun Obasanjo administration did not create a Northern EFCC.
Therefore, this gross oppression, marginalisation and injustice against a section of the country must come to an end forthwith to engender an enduring, efficient, professional and formidable institutions if Nigeria must move forward.
