Hon. Yakubu Dogara, former Speaker of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Board of the Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC), has paid glowing tribute to Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on the occasion of his 69th birthday.

Dogara described Dangote as “a visionary nation-builder whose impact will echo for generations,” commending his unparalleled contributions to Nigeria’s economy. He noted that Dangote’s investments in cement, sugar, salt, fertilizers, and the landmark Dangote Refinery have transformed industries and created millions of jobs. “Alhaji Aliko Dangote is not just an entrepreneur; he is a symbol of resilience, discipline, and excellence. His vision has redefined what is possible for Nigeria and Africa,” Dogara said.

He further highlighted Dangote’s philanthropy through the Dangote Foundation, which has supported health, education, and humanitarian relief across the continent. “Beyond industry, his generosity has touched countless lives. He embodies the spirit of giving back and lifting others,” Dogara added.

Reflecting on Dangote’s legacy, Dogara emphasized his role as an inspiration to young Nigerians and Africans. “Alhaji Dangote’s story is proof that with hard work, faith, and determination, we can build enterprises that rival the best in the world. He remains a shining example of African excellence,” Dogara concluded.

As Dangote celebrates this milestone, his life and work continue to stand as a testament to the power of vision, enterprise, and philanthropy in shaping a stronger Nigeria and a more prosperous Africa.
