Adebowale Adedayo, widely known as Mr Macaroni, recently shared his perspective on why he felt Wizkid’s remarks about Don Jazzy were disrespectful. During a live show on Wazobia TV in Lagos, Mr Macaroni expressed his admiration for Don Jazzy, describing him as a significant influencer in the African entertainment industry.

He emphasized that Don Jazzy’s influence extends far beyond just being an ordinary influencer, citing his pivotal role in reshaping the music industry with artists like D’banj, Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, Di’ja, and others.

Mr Macaroni highlighted Don Jazzy’s contributions as a champion and a driving force behind the success of numerous music artists and record labels. He commended Don Jazzy’s versatility, noting his impact not only in music but also in film and content creation.

While acknowledging Wizkid’s immense talent and success, Mr Macaroni pointed out that the context in which Wizkid referred to Don Jazzy as an “influencer” seemed disrespectful. He suggested that Wizkid’s comment could have been better articulated to reflect Don Jazzy’s stature and contributions to the industry.

In essence, Mr Macaroni’s remarks underscored the importance of recognizing Don Jazzy’s significant influence and the need for respectful discourse within the entertainment community.
