Legendary comic, Klint the Drunk returned to the stage after a long hiatus. He did it in an ‘unusual’ fashion by bringing two sides of his personality to bear; one as a standard drunk while the other as a ‘preacher’ in his first ever show since Obasanjo’s tenure as president. He named the show “The Drunk and the Preacher”.

Speaking with our entertainment correspondent, he said the reason for his absence was due to a down spiral of bad situations and decisions. He further said that, he went through some ‘processes’ in order to get out of his predicament.

The show was ‘one of a kind’ to say the least. It had some of the very best set of comics to entertain the audience such as Danfo, Ogbeufi, Sariki Darinyan, Forever to mention but a few. When asked if it would be a regular thing, he replied Yes that we have seen the last of him yet.
