Broda Shaggi Speaks Up Following Sango Shooting

    Published on

Nigerian skit maker, Samuel Perry, better known as Broda Shaggi, has made his first social media post after narrowly escaping death in a gun-related incident.

Shaggi was hospitalised after he was allegedly shot in the Sango-Ota area of Ogun State.

Although the circumstances surrounding the shooting at the time were unclear, a police source who spoke said the content creator sustained the gunshot injury while filming a comedy skit at the location.

The source disclosed that Shaggi was immediately rushed to the Blooming Care Hospital in the Alakuko area of Lagos State, where he received initial treatment.

“He was shooting a skit under the Sango-Ota bridge when he sustained a gunshot injury. We don’t have details on how it happened yet, but his crew members who were present quickly rushed him to the hospital,” the source said.

The source added that medical personnel at the hospital administered first aid upon his arrival.

However, amid the growing concern about his well-being, Broda Shaggi took to his Instagram story to share a cryptic message to fans.

The skitmaker hinted at holding back his thoughts, suggesting that expressing himself fully might lead to his words being taken down.

He wrote, “But if you are gonna leave this world behind, leave it as a good person… it is 4am and I wish like pouring out my mind but I can’t cos they will be deleted.”
