Former Big Brother Naija All Stars contestant, Venita Akpofure, has addressed the nature of her relationship with fellow housemate Mercy Eke in a recent interview with media personality, Toke Makinwa. Venita clarified that she and Mercy are not friends, dispelling any misconceptions about their relationship.

While they were very close during their time in the Big Brother Naija house in the season 8 edition, Venita explained, “I was not friends with Mercy before the show. I do see her once or twice a year at shows or parties because we are not in each other’s circle.”

Venita expressed her surprise at the narrative created by fans, suggesting that she had betrayed her friend, Mercy Eke. She made it clear that she harbors no ill will towards Mercy and asserted that her conscience is clear, emphasizing, “I don’t wish her any harm.”
