Details of a phone conversation between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu have been made public.

In a statement posted on his Truth Social on Wednesday, he revealed this.

Trump provided specifics on the conversation, stating that he and Netanyahu talked about a number of topics, such as trade and Iran.

He claims that the conversation went really well and that they both agree on every point.

“I recently had a conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu about a variety of topics, such as trade, Iran, etc. We are on the same side of every issue, and the call went really well,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social.

The call between the two leaders came amid deadlocks in ceasefire talks over the Israel and Hamas conflict in Gaza, the issue of 59 hostages still held by Hamas.

Recall that last week, the New York Times reported that Trump blocked an Israeli plan for a series of joint strikes next month on Iranian nuclear facilities. The strike would jeopardise a possible US-Iran nuclear agreement.

The telephone conversation between Trump and Netanyahu marks the first after the Israeli prime minister’s visit to the White House two weeks ago.
