The State House Conference Centre in Abuja is currently the venue for the monthly meeting of the Nigerian Governors Forum, or NGF.

Traditional leaders from the National Council of Traditional Rulers are also present at the conference.

The agenda for the conference remains secret even though it is being held behind closed doors. Nonetheless, there are hints that the governors might be talking about the terrible economic conditions that exist throughout the nation.

It’s possible that the governors are attempting to gather input from the traditional leaders and create measures that will improve the current state of affairs in the nation.

NGF chairman AbdulRahman AbdulRazak (Kwara), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Agbu Kefas (Taraba), Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), and Uba Sani (Kaduna) are among those seen at the meeting.

Among the notable traditional leaders are Yahaya Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III; Oni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and Etsu Nupe.
