It was a colourful and memorable day in the history of Topfaith University, Akwa Ibom State, as the institution marked its maiden convocation ceremony recently.

The institution was founded by Dr. Emmanuel Thomas Abraham, who is also the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the University.

The occasion drew dignitaries from far and near, including the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umoh Bassey Enoh, who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Hon. Mrs. Akon Eyakenyi.

Also in attendance were parents of the graduands, representatives of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the National Universities Commission (NUC), traditional rulers, among others, who converged on the institution to witness the ceremony.

The occasion also featured the admission of forty successful graduands into the Union of Academic Graduates, from two faculties and nine departments, out of which eleven emerged with first-class honours.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Patrick J. Ebewo, expressed appreciation to Almighty God for always being there for them.

He also congratulated the graduands and their sponsors on bringing their dreams into reality.

Ebewo also extended gratitude to the JAMB team, led by the State Coordinator, Mrs. Grace Olima-William, for her impactful advocacies in the service of the Board.

One of the highlights of the occasion was the presentation of an award to Miss Marylin Anya Ibem as the best graduating student of the institution.
