The government of Ebonyi State and the rruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State has announced plans to hold a “Grand Endorsement” rally for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ahead of the 2027 elections on Monday, June 15, 2026.
The event is slated to hold at the Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium, Abakaliki.
This was disclosed on Friday by the Hon. Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Chief Barr. Ikeuwa Omebeh, during a press briefing in Abakaliki.
Omebeh said the proposed endorsement of President Tinubu was in recognition of his government’s “evident strides in Infrastructure, Economic and Human Capital Development” in the last three years.
“Ebonyi State, the Salt of the Nation, is one of the States that have richly benefited from Mr President’s impactful Administration through the renewed hope Agenda,” Omebeh stated.
The Commissioner said the people of Ebonyi State are thankful to President Tinubu for appointing 15 Ebonyians to federal positions.
Omebeh said the state had also benefited from several Renewed Hope projects, including: the Renewed Hope Housing Estate; the Enugu-Abakaliki Expressway and the Trans-Sahara Super Highway and the 30-span Ndibe Bridge linking Ebonyi and Cross River States.
Under direct empowerment programmes, he said 100 women from the 13 LGAs received N1m each, three youth agricultural cooperatives got N6m each, and 1,500 youths received N1m each under the Renewed Hope Youth Agricultural Development Programme.
He also cited the Renewed Hope Cash Transfer of N70,000 to 35,000 beneficiaries, N360,000 each to 2,040 people under NG-CARES, and N2m for 51 persons in the Amnesty Group.
“With ALL these and more, we are proud to say that Mr President deserves a SECOND TENURE IN OFFICE,” Omebeh said.
