In a move aimed at deepening regional development across Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed managing directors and governing boards for the recently established development commissions representing the North-Central, South-West, and South-South zones.

The President’s nominations were formally presented in a letter read aloud on the Senate floor by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Thursday. Tinubu also requested the Senate’s confirmation of the appointees.
