Nenadi Usman Set to Take Over Labour Party National Secretariat

    Published on

The Interim National Chairman of the Labour Party, Senator Nenadi Usman, is set to officially take over the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

Usman will become the first female National Chairman of a major Nigerian political party.

The secretariat, which is located at the Utako District, Abuja, was hitherto occupied by the Julius Abure-led faction of the party until the recent decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, officially recognised Usman and her team.

At the time of filing this report, a banner bearing the photographs of Usman and the acting National Secretary, Senator Darlington Nwochocha, is being hoisted around the building preparatory to an event signalling the beginning of a new era.
