Tinubu is APC’s biggest asset – Yilwatda

    Published on

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Nentawe Yilwatda, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the party’s biggest asset.

This was as Yilwatda expressed confidence that the president is strategically positioned to win a second term in office in 2027.

He made the remarks in Abuja at the APC Northwest Youth Mobilisation Meet-and-Greet programme hosted by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Goronyo.

Yilwatda outlined several factors he said would strengthen Tinubu’s re-election bid, including rising youth involvement, visible policy outcomes, the party’s expanding national footprint, and the application of data-focused mobilisation techniques.

He noted that Tinubu’s governance style and the APC’s increasing grassroots penetration have helped the party earn recognition as “the largest political party in Africa,” adding that its acceptance continues to spread nationwide.

“Every day we keep on receiving more governors. Every day we keep on receiving more National Assembly members.

“We receive market women. We receive farmers. We receive students,” he said.

Emphasizing the need for solidarity within the party, the APC chairman called on members to remain loyal and united, stating: “This party is your biggest asset. The President is our biggest asset. Let us stand by this party.”
