    Actor Timini Egbuson recently asserted his confidence in his acting prowess, boldly declaring himself as the biggest actor in Africa. His statement came during his appearance as a guest on the Menisms Podcast.

    Reflecting on his extensive career spanning 15 years, Timini highlighted his consistent dedication to acting, noting his influence on aspiring actors and his role in pioneering lead roles tailored specifically for young men in the movie industry.

    He recalled the landscape of Nollywood when he initially entered the scene, emphasizing the lack of prominent lead roles available for young male actors, which were often dominated by older individuals or female counterparts.

    Timini stated, “I have been acting for 15 years consistently. I’ve never had a time off or fall off for 15 years consistently. I believe that I genuinely opened up the way for a lot of new school young actors. I also believe that I opened up the leading male young actor category.”

    His assertion of being the biggest actor in Africa stemmed from his perception of the impact he has made on the industry, combining his achievements and contributions over the years.

    Timini’s statement, though confident, reflects his journey in carving a niche for himself in Nollywood and his aspirations to inspire and pave the way for the next generation of actors.
