Kwara State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Alabi Afees Abolore, has assured stakeholders in the Tertiary Education sector of an enhanced progression in terms of qualitative service delivery during the second term of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration.
The Commissioner gave the assurance on Monday in Ilorin, the state capital, while receiving the Ministry’s new Permanent Secretary, Hajia Habiba Salman Saidu, on her assumption of duty.
Dr. Abolore, who was elated by Governor AbdulRazaq’s victory at the just concluded gubernatorial poll, emphasised that his re-election would rebirth productive and structural enhancements in all Tertiary Institutions across the state.
The new Permanent Secretary, Hajia Habiba Salman Saidu, while joining the Commissioner in his assurances for a new dawn in the Tertiary Education sector in the state, admonished the staff to be steadfast, committed, and focused in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Hajia Salman Saidu stated that the garment factory which is nearing completion is one among the giant strides of Governor AbdulRazaq, adding that it was, “no doubt, a clear testimony that the working Governor truly deserves his re-election considering the numerous achievements recorded in all sectors during his first tenure.”
She expressed appreciation at the warm reception accorded her on assumption of office and sought for harmonious working relationship with the management and staff of the Ministry.
