    Supreme Court Judgement: Protest rocks Lafia, nasarawa State Capital

    Protest has erupted in Lafia the Nasarawa State capital following the Supreme Court Appeal Judgment affirming the election of Governor Abdullahi Sule.

    The Lafia -Jos road has been completely blocked as the protesters set fire to tires along the road.

    Motorists had to take alternative routes to pass out of Lafia the Nasarawa State capital.

    In an interview, an automobile mechanic Mallam Dogo Audu called for the deployment of more security operatives to restore calm.

    Shops and business centres including schools within the Lafia metropolis have abruptly closed.

    Our correspondent report that few hours ago the much anticipated judgement into the appeal filed by David Emmanuel Ombugadu the PDP governorship candidate was dismissed by the five man panel of justices that sat over the case at the Apex Court of the Land at Abuja .

    Major roads in the state capital. has been deserted , while at Karu and Keffi , remains calmed amidst mixed feelings.
