Skales: Burna Boy can’t deny that I inspired him

According to Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known by his stage name Skales, he once influenced Burna Boy, his colleague.
In a recent interview with Naija FM in Lagos, Skales asserted that Burna Boy, a musician from Port Harcourt, had no success song prior to his inclusion on the 2017 single “Temper Remix.”

But he also mentioned how Burna Boy has influenced him throughout the years.

He clarified that encouraging and supporting one another is the fundamental component of teamwork.

“Burna Boy was influenced by me. He’ll concur with me. So, no one helps anyone. We most likely choose to collaborate because we think highly of ourselves.

Before I included Burna Boy on “Temper Remix,” he didn’t have a catchy song.

He began to flourish following our partnership. He has inspired me over the years, and I think I once inspired him as well. I’m not attempting to claim credit for his achievement,” Skales stated.
