Singer Crayon Criticises Don Jazzy, Mavin Records in Viral Outburst

    Published on

Nigerian singer, Crayon has stirred controversy online after publicly criticising his record label leadership in a series of posts on social media.

The artist, who is signed to Blowtime Entertainment, an imprint of Mavin Records, took to his X account to express frustration with the label and its management.

In one of the posts, Crayon appeared to take a swipe at the label’s founder, Don Jazzy, writing, “Don Jazzy na my boy!!!!!! Una dey maddddd!!?? Shayennnnn sharayyyyyy333.”

The singer also directed criticism at Tega Oghenejobo, the Chief Operating Officer of Mavin Records, referring to him as a “highest criminal.”

Crayon further made a startling allegation, claiming that he lost his mother because of the label, although he did not provide additional details or context for the statement.

In another post that quickly attracted attention online, the singer wrote, “Mavin is going down!!!!!!,” raising speculation about a possible fallout between him and the record label.

The posts have since triggered widespread reactions among fans and industry observers, many of whom are questioning the future of Crayon’s relationship with Mavin Records.

However, it remains unclear whether the singer’s X account have been compromised.

He has continued posting normally on his Instagram page without suggesting that his account was hacked.

Meanwhile, Crayon recently shared details about what appeared to be a new venture, Olodum Entertainment, including a new booking email address on his Instagram page.

This development has further fuelled rumours that the singer may be planning to part ways with Mavin Records, although neither Crayon nor the label has officially confirmed any split.

Crayon joined Blowtime Entertainment, a subsidiary of Mavin Records, in May 2019 and has released several songs under the label since signing the deal.
