    Royal father gives thumb up to Aliko Dangote for uniting Nigeria through business

    Africa’s top philanthropist Aliko Dangote on Monday received yet another royal accolades for his business acumen and efforts to bring all Nigerians together.

    This endorsement came from a Monarch in Kogi State, HRH the Baalo of Oyo, Oba Solomon Obahawu during the Foundation Laying Ceremony for the construction of a secondary school and the debut of a newly dug borehole by Dangote Cement Plc.

    The Octogenarian said he has observed that Mr. Dangote has been uniting Nigerians by ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed in his businesses.

    He said the Obajana communities are the biggest beneficiaries of Mr. Dangote detribalized attributes.

    “Every ethnic group in Nigeria is represented here in our communities. So the company is bringing all Nigerians together,” he said.

    Due to his philanthropic and entrepreneurial endeavors across all of Nigeria, in his opinion, Mr. Dangote deserves to be hailed as the Father of Nigerian Unity.

    The paramount ruler expressed appreciation for opening up his communities to the world.

    “We want to thank Alhaji Aliko Dangote who has been using his business ideas to unite Nigerians. We thank him for the groundbreaking ceremony for this secondary school and for the completion of this borehole,” the paramount ruler said.

    In his reaction, Dangote Cement Plant Director Mr. JV Gungune, who was represented by the Senior General Manager, Production, Engr. John Gwong, said Dangote takes its relationship with host communities very seriously, promising that there are more CSR projects in the pipeline.

    Speaking earlier, General Manager, Community Relations and Special Duties, said the communities have been very supportive, and that the projects are captured in the extant Community Development Agreement (CDA).
