The stadium had been undergoing renovation for over two years, and now, materials for the project have started arriving at the facility.

Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, the General Manager of the Flying Antelopes (Rangers), expressed his excitement about the progress and looked forward to the completion of the renovation.

The construction firm in charge of the project has provided assurance that the work will be completed as per the previously announced November deadline. During the renovation period, Rangers have been playing their home matches at the Awka City Stadium in Anambra.
